Policies

Philosophy:  Here at Studio 89, it is our purpose to provide training through the Arts.  We desire to promote that the Arts are fun, lift the spirit, strengthen the body and stimulate the mind.        


Children respond in like of their surroundings.  For best results, children should arrive on time and in proper attire (little ones do best when well rested).  In special instances parents are welcome to record for at home practice.      


Email is a great way to communicate with directors and teachers. We usually have classes immediately following one another. You may stop into the office during normal business hours if you have any questions or concerns. 


All important dates, Holidays and other important details will be found on our website under Information > Calendar.     We will send out all info through email. Parents please read thoroughly. Please continue to check emails and our website for upcoming events, details and additional information.     


Students please start stretching as soon as you enter the studio.     


Please let us know if student has special needs or concerns.      


To be considered for next season, please contact us to be on waiting list.     


Although we love your children, we do not love germs. If your child is sick and misses class, they may make it up in a similar class. The make up class must be approved by the instructor prior to attending the class.     


NO food, gum or liquid ( except water ) inside the studios. Please keep food, snacks & other drinks in your dance bag in the waiting area or dancers lounge. Please pick up after yourself and help keep our area clean.

Tuition, costumes & fees

Registration:  $20 for the first dancer in each family and an additional $10 for each additional family member. All dancers recieve a Studio 89 shirt with paid registration.      


Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, regardless of 3 or 5 weeks in the month and if not paid by the 10th, late fees may be applied.  We accept cash, check, money order and visa/mastercard.  


Please make payable to Studio 89.  There is a $25 service charge on all returned checks.  


There are no credits or refunds for lessons missed.  If a class will be missed, please email or text in advance.  Prorating is not permissible September - May.      


Please check within studio for class rates.     


We do offer a family discount for families with 2 or more dancers.      Costumes, shoes and class attire are all additional costs. Any required shoes or class clothing order forms will be sent to parents and items may be purchases through our office. Costume deposits of $50 per are required.       


All invoices will be sent out the beginning of each month via email. If you have questions on your account please stop by the office and speak with our admin or email us.      


Dancers may not perform in any production, performance or competitions if the students account is not current.

Cancellation Policy

If a dancer drops a class, they are responsible for the class/classes fee until the parent/guardian notifies Studio 89 via email at info@studio89company.com and Studio 89 responds to the email notifying that the dancer has been dropped from the class.      


Classes must have a minimum of 5 students for the class to run.       


We will follow the Williston Public School District #1 school calendar.
